Study visit of the delegation from Kosovo and Albania to the Netherlands from 7 to 10 feb 2017

The study visit was organized as part of the joint project between Civil Rights Program/Kosovo (hereinafter: CRP/K) and the Dutch Council for Refugees.

The aim of the study visit was to increase capacities of CRP/K,  Department for Citizenship Asylum and Migration (hereinafter: DCAM) within Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kosovo (hereinafter: MIA), Kosovo Border Police (hereinafter: KBP), Department for Foreigners and Migration (hereinafter: DFM) within Kosovo Police (hereinafter: KP) and the officials of the Centre for Social Welfare in the Municipality of Lipjan who are also appointed as legal guardians for the unaccompanied minors seeking asylum in Kosovo being that the Asylum Seekers Centre is located in this municipality (hereinafter : LG). Moreover, this project is intended to strengthen asylum policies and practices and cooperation between government and civil society with special attention given on the needs of unaccompanied minors and other vulnerable groups.

During the visit, the participants had the opportunity to exchange  knowledge and best practices on asylum and integration policies and practices, including the collection of  country of origin information and  treatment of vulnerable groups by visiting and meeting with the representatives of the following institutions!
